Customs & Compliance Support
Find out what your product needs before you ship it.
Korea has its own rules about what can come in and what you're allowed to say about it. We work out which ones apply to your product, gather the paperwork, and deal with what customs raises.
Where people usually start.
You have no idea what applies
It sells fine in the US. Korea is a blank.
Someone said something is missing
A document, a certificate, a label change — and no explanation of what that actually means.
Shipments keep getting stuck
Deliveries stall on recipient details, and each one has to be chased.
What we do, and what you get for it.
- Reviewing the product
- A list of what's missing, what's unclear, and what to do about each item.
- Gathering documents
- Everything in one place, with the gaps marked.
- Asking the questions
- A record of what was asked, who answered, and what they said.
- Clearance problems
- Recipient and address issues caught at customs and put right.
Address problems get caught at customs, not after.
Korean customs holds shipments over mismatched recipient details and incomplete addresses. Our team in Korea spots these during clearance and gets them corrected.
- 01
Spotted
A mismatch in recipient details or the delivery address turns up during clearance.
- 02
Raised
The correction goes to whoever can make it.
- 03
Chased
Tracked until it's fixed or someone decides otherwise.
This happens after arrival in Korea. It isn't a pre-departure check, and it won't prevent every delay.
How it runs.
- 01
You send us the product
What's in it, how it's packaged and labelled, what you want to claim, and any documents you hold.
- 02
We tell you what's open
A review listing every question, gap and next step.
- 03
Documents get collected
You supply what's missing. We take the questions that need a specialist or an authority.
- 04
It gets written down
What was checked, what came back, what's still open.
Who does what.
Worth reading before you start, not after something goes wrong.

Your agreement is what actually governs this. The table is the short version.
What sets the timeline
- Review time comes down to how complete your product information is on day one.
- Some answers have to come from authorities or labs, on their schedule.
- Certification, where it applies, runs on its own clock.
What sets the price
- What's in the product, and how many variants.
- What you want to claim about it.
- How much documentation already exists.
- How you plan to sell — the route changes what applies.
Questions people ask.
Can you guarantee it clears customs?
No, and be careful of anyone who says they can. We review, organise and coordinate. Clearance is decided by the authorities.
Our US category tells you what applies, right?
Not really. How a product is classified and sold in the US doesn't determine the Korean requirements. That's why the review starts from the product itself.
What happens when a shipment is held over recipient details?
It gets spotted during clearance, the correction goes to whoever can make it, and it's chased until resolved.
Food and supplements?
Those carry extra review, including requirements that land on the manufacturing site rather than the product. We'll map it before you commit.
